Our Clinic’s Services

Pediatric Speech & Developmental Services (the Clinic) offers individualized programming, including  Reference & Regulate  (R&R),  for children and their families with speech, language, behavioural, life skills, fine and gross motor specific needs. Our clients range in diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Speech and Language Delays, Global Developmental Delays, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Dysarthria. We offer Speech-Language services, Occupational Therapy, Behavioural Intervention, and life skill supports.

Autism Intervention

Our autism intervention therapy also includes swimming pool sessions, equine therapy, art classes, and hair cuts. 

Unique Therapy Approaches

Certain life skills and interactions can be challenging for those with developmental needs. Our goal is to provide therapy that can assist in bridging the gap in a child’s development. Our clinic utilizes therapy approaches that are multidisciplinary enriched and in conjunction with external partners.

Speech Therapy 

​We screen, assess, identify, and treat communication, speech, language, and swallowing challenges. This includes: fluency (stuttering), voice, articulation (pronunciation), motor speech disorders, social communication, receptive language (understanding), expressive language (use), literacy, swallowing, and feeding difficulties. Alongside all of this we also advocate for the prevention of these disorders as well as educating and consulting with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
