Chart Notes

It has come to our attention that not all parents are aware that we provide access to your child’s chart notes after each session. During each R&R, Speech Therapy, or Group session, your child’s BI/SLA documents what activities were carried out, as well as what regulating activities were used during the session, if they were needed. All the information is put into a chart note, and is then uploaded to your child’s Jane profile.

We have the expectation of our staff to have all chart notes completed, signed and shared with families within 24 hours post-session.

These chart notes are visible to the parents/guardians of the child through the child’s Jane profile. This enables transparency between the family and the PSDS Staff as well as helps all of us keep track of your child’s progress.

To access the chart notes, please log into your child’s Jane profile and click on the “Documents” tab in your child’s Jane profile. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Regulation Activity of the Month

Weather Feelings Chart

It is super difficult to regulate ourselves when we are not sure what is dysregulating us in the first place. For some people, it is helpful to first identify what they are feeling before they can take the next steps. This free printable weather poster acts as a visual guide to help your child understand and talk about how they are feeling, and how they would like to be feeling.
