Parent Coaching

Relationship and strength-based parent coaching is currently available in all clinic locations at a reduced rate while coaches complete their course practicum. Parents will be coached to incorporate learning opportunities into daily routines to promote high-quality interactions for building social communication skills and development of self-regulation skills. Coaching is eligible for funding through MCFD and Jordan’s Principle funding sources.

Word of the Month: Delicious

Penelope thought her classmate’s lunch looked delicious. This means that something tastes very yummy! You can discuss with your child things that you find delicious, such as your favorite foods or even coffee! Then you can talk about what they find delicious, what their favorite snacks are and why they like them. Are they very sweet or sour? Crunchy or soft? Describe what they look like and feel like. What things might a dinosaur find delicious that people wouldn’t?

Food can be fun! Whether you are using food to create an art project or something fun to eat, these activities can help you and your child make something delicious!
